Studio Production - A plainly furnished room into which a valet introduces one by one three characters, a man and two very different women. Where is the room? Who are the characters? Why are they there? And why can they never leave? Gradually the sins that each has committed become clear as does what their punishment for those crimes is going to be. This play was the origin for Sartre’s famed epigram, “Hell is other people.”
